Love Is Blind star Leo Braudy, 31, was born in 1993 to his father, Arnold Miller, and his mother, Ayne Furman. 

His mother was among the first students to graduate from the Kinesiological Sciences bachelor’s program in 1977

As an undergraduate, Ayne ran for the UMD cross-country team. After graduating from Maryland, she earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. 

She was a pioneer. Her love for the University of Maryland, support for Terp teams, and gifts of time, expertise, and money have made a real impact.

Sadly, Ayne passed away on September 26, 2021, after a struggle with cancer at 64

Leo and his father, Arnold, honored Ayne’s legacy and commitment to Maryland by establishing the Anye Furman Endowed Discretionary Fund with $100,000 to support the Department of Kinesiology and the School of Public Health. 

Moreover, Braudy’s parents were philanthropic supporters of the School of Public Health programs for many years. 

In 2014, they established the Furman/Miller Terpstart Endowed Scholarship in the School of Public Health, which provides need-based scholarships for Kinesiology students.

Art dealer and art advisor Leo Braudy and his parents live in Washington, D.C., and hold American nationality. 

However, his ancestors have a deep-rooted history with Scottish heritage.

He is the grandson of art dealers Ethel and Arthur Furman, founders of Ethle A. Furnman & Associates (now Capital Art Advisory). 

Leo inherited his family company from his grandparents and became its third-generation owner.
