Lainey was reported missing by her family on May 12, 2023, after she did not return home from her art class.
Carrie Wiggs dropped her daughter Lainey off for her art class at the Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City on Friday evening.
The class was supposed to last until 8:00 pm, but at 7:00 pm, Lainey’s instructor called Carrie to inform her that Lainey was missing, and none of the other students knew where she was.
Lainey was last seen wearing a tie-dye sweatshirt, parachute pants, and Doc Martens, and carrying a black backpack with sunflowers. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, is 5’1 tall, and weighs 110 lbs.
Despite ongoing efforts, Lainey has not been found yet, and people are still looking for her. The photo attached shows the last known item of clothing that Lainey was wearing.
The situation is concerning, and efforts to locate Lainey are still ongoing.
