Soonam had a single handicap when he was young but got better at golf in Korea, where he played at a high level.
His mother, Clara Lee, also played a role in shaping his golfing journey.
Both of Min’s parents are Australian citizens now, but they were born in Korea. They moved to Australia in the early 1990s. In an interview, Min expressed deep gratitude to his family, recognizing them as his greatest inspiration.

Her journey towards success began in 2010 when she won as the youngest victor of the W.A. Amateur Open while attending Methodist Ladies’ College in Perth as a year nine student.
In February 2014, Lee became the top-ranked amateur golfer. This achievement came shortly after her win at the Oates Victorian Open.
She held the esteemed position until September of the same year, when she decided to turn professional, embarking on a new chapter of her golfing journey.
Lee won her first important title, the Amundi Evian title, on July 25, 2021. On June 5, 2022, she won the U.S. Women’s Open, her second major title.
