Zac Oyama Was Once Fake Fired, But The Word “Fired” Has Stuck With Him Ever Since

The Game Changer star has also admitted in a stream that whenever he searched his name, the word fired would never fail to pop up. 

Zac Oyama Left CollegeHumor One Year After He Was Fake Fired

In the December 2016 improv skit, Sam Reich, who referred to himself as boss, asked fans to help him fire the comedy genius. The media executive said:

“I gotta get rid of him really. It comes down to being about money. I just don’t want to pay him anymore. I want that money instead but that’s not a good enough reason. So, I’m hoping you (the CollegeHumor commenters) can give me a reason that I can use.”

The boss also shared that he texted the writer to visit his office. As soon as Zac arrived, Sam said, “Happy Holidays to you,” and asked if he had any plans.

The comedian played along and just laughed. The executive producer went on, “Listen, Zac, there is no real easy way to say this and I’m sorry to do it leading up to the holidays. But I gotta let you go.”

When asked why, Reich said, “You used all the shampoo.” The writer was like, “I didn’t know there was a set amount of Shampoo.”

Sam explained why he was having trouble with using too much shampoo. While the media executive struggled to come up with new, funny reasons, fans helped him.

In the video where Sam “fake fired” Zac, fans dropped several funny reasons and he used all of them in the skit.

One funny reason was that the Game Changer star picked up too many quarters from the floor.

Another reason was that the Dimension 20 writer typed “2K16” instead of “2016,” which confused people.

Fans also joked that the Dropout comedian wouldn’t bring in his pet parrot to the office, which was a big disappointment.

And the reason only became funnier from this point. They said Zac doesn’t have a beard, which somehow became a reason for firing him.

They also mentioned that the comedian claps his hands together too much and says “Yes” way too often.

However, even with all these silly reasons, many people misunderstood that Zac Oyama was fired at that time.

While the video was just a joke, he left CollegeHumor one year ago in 2018 to pursue other projects like writing for Adam Ruins Everything. But he was not fired. The comedian left on his own terms.

According to his recent Instagram post, there is a new episode of Adventuring Academy on Dropout which has Zac Oyama as a guest.

He joined Brennan Lee Mulligan to discuss improv, sunglasses, railroading, and eating crickets.
