Unlike famous Rumors, Marc Mezvinsky, Husband Of Chelsea Clinton, Is Not The Nephew Of George Soros

In October 2016, Happy Days actor Scott Baio shared some connections he had discovered about the Clinton family.
“Some Clinton connection I just discovered. So Chelsea is married to George SOROS’s nephew,” reads the first connection he presented.
The actor went on to present long details about his claim. However, he didn’t provide any solid evidence to back up his claim.
One of his claims is that Chelse Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky got married at George Soros’ mansion, which is not true.
“Clintons staying at Soros Family home during Chelsea’s wedding Now Marc and Chelsea are in their early thirties and purchased a 10.5 million dollar NYC apartment (after being married in George Soros’ mansion).”
The Clinton-Mezvinsky couple were actually married at Astor Courts on the old Astor estate Ferncliff Farm, which is not owned by Soros.
It is unclear where Baio “discovered” that Mezvinsky is George Soros’ nephew, but this claim falls apart when we look at their family tree.
George Soros Has Two Nephews; Peter And Jeffrey Soros
George Soros was born in Budapest in the Kingdom of Hungary, to a prosperous non-observant Jewish family.
His parents are Tivadar Soros also known as Teodoro Svarc was a lawyer, author, and editor. The businessman has one brother, Paul Soros.
George Soros’ older brother, who was a private investor and philanthropist, passed away on 15 June 2013.
Furthermore, the late investor, Paul Soros, was a father of 4 children, Peter, Steven, Linda, and Jeffrey, whom he shared with his wife, Daisy Schlenger.
Steven and Linda are have passed away in separate accidents when they were young.
To conclude, Peter and Jeffrey are the nephews of George Soros. Neither of them is Marc Mezvinsky nor married to Chelsea Clinton.
Marc Mezvinsky’s Uncle’s Name Is Norton Mezvinsky
Similarly, Marc Mezvinsky was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his parents Edward Mezvinsky and Marjorie Margolies.
Both of the investor’s parents are former Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Scott went on to write great details about the embezzlement and scam case of Ed Mezvinsky. But, it seems he forgot that Marc’s father has only one brother, Norton Mezvinsky.
This means Marc Mezvinsky has only one uncle: Norton Mezvinsky.
When Marc and Chelsea got married in 2010, they had 500 guests. However, his only uncle was not among the guests due to a family feud.

This news made headlines in several media outlets back then. According to a social media user, Marc has pretty much cut his dad out of his life because of the fraud he committed.
In an interview with Daily News, Norton said he was hurt as he was not invited to his only nephew’s wedding.
“I’m the senior male member of the family, and Marc’s only uncle. I am not surprised, but extremely hurt I wasn’t invited.”
Nevertheless, Marc Mezvinsky and George Soros are unrelated.
