Tiffany is married to Scott Smiley. Scott Smiley, a retired U.S. Army Major, and United States Military Academy graduate was blinded in Iraq on April 6, 2005.
While serving as an active duty officer, Smiley was on top of a Stryker in Mosul when a suicide bomber blew up a car nearby. Shrapnel from the explosion entered his eyes, leaving him blind and paralyzed.
Even though Smiley’s accident changed his life, he didn’t let it stop him from reaching his goals.
He got his Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and taught military leadership at West Point.
He led the Warrior Transition Unit at West Point’s Keller Army Medical Center, becoming the first blind officer to lead a Company.
Smiley’s determination and resilience also extended to his personal life. He remained physically active and engaged in skiing, surfing, and even completing a Coeur d’Alene Ironman.

Despite this, she decided to leave her job to give her entire time to providing care for her husband, Scott, who had been injured in the military.
