Unfortunately, their beef took a tragic turn, and Mo3 (Melvin Abdul Noble Jr.) was shot to death on a Dallas highway on November 11, 2020. Mo3 was the father of three children: two girls and one boy.
Yella was arrested on March 20, 2025, and booked into the Dallas County Jail on a charge of capital murder in connection with the 2020 shooting death of Mo3.
Dallas County grand jury charged him with planning the murder while remuneration was involved. According to the report, he engaged a third party to do the shooting.
Yella hired Dontrell White, who gunned down Mo3 in broad daylight on Interstate 35E near Marsalis Avenue. The incident was captured on traffic cameras, and Dontrell is serving a nine-year prison sentence for firearm charges related to the shooting.
Likewise, Devin Maurice Brown was also charged with aiding in the attack’s planning.
Nontheless, Yella has stated that Mo3 was jealous of him, and his death didn’t impact his career.
