Police Commissioner Michael Cox says the suspected crimes happened on four different dates. The dates are August 18, 2007, November 22, 2007, August 5, 2008, and December 23, 2008.
Cox also said that the lawyer is facing multiple charges. It includes three counts of rape, two counts of kidnapping, one count of attack with the intent to rape, and one count of indecent assault and battery.

Matthew J. Nilo, formerly residing in the North End, was arrested at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, in his residence in Weehawken, New Jersey.
Joseph Bonavolonta, the FBI’s special agent in the Boston field office, disclosed about the arrest.
After a long wait of 15 years, the four survivors of sexual assault received prompt notification regarding Nilo’s arrest, a moment they had been eagerly anticipating.
In October, the Boston Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit sought help from the FBI in their investigation.
The investigators successfully identified the attorney as a prime suspect by employing a cutting-edge technique known as investigative genetic genealogy, which combines DNA analysis, genealogical research, and historical records.
Bonovolonta said that investigators were able to confirm Nilo’s name last month. Undoubtedly, his arrest is a testament to law enforcement’s unwavering determination and resilience.
