The British actress made her pregnancy announcement public on October 17, 2024 at the Thursday night premiere of her TV drama series The Day of the Jackal, which took place at the Walter Reade Theater in New York City.
However, Lashana said in a Vogue interview that Eddie Redmayne was completely taken aback when she revealed the good news to her co-stars in The Day of the Jackal, waiting until the premiere to tell them.
