The daughter of football legend Sir Kenny Dalglish isn’t thinking about long-term relationships as Kelly discussed dating during a pandemic after divorcing husband Tom Cates.
The 45-year-old reporter revealed that dating has been limited due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, Cates doesn’t want to waste her free time on someone she doesn’t have a connection with. She said:
The thought of going on a date, spending a nice time with someone, and at the end of it thinking, ‘Well, I don’t really like you,’ I would resent them taking up my time.
Obviously, it’s vice versa, as well, but I’m not really bothered about it from their perspective – bearing in mind I don’t get to see the people I do like very often.
