Reportedly, Peter Nygard was arrested on another sex crime charge. Likewise, the suspected pedophile and former fashion mogul was taken into custody for a 1993 case.

This time, Nygard was accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old at his company’s headquarters in Canada. 

Moreover, accuser April Telek revealed to CBC News that Nygard forced her. Also, the suspected pedophile held her captive after he invited her to a modeling job in 1993.

Telek said his latest jail news “felt like such a huge victory.” However, it was not a full win as she still has sisters who never got justice.

She also revealed that Nygard was not being held accountable for the damage that he had done to them. The minor said: 

But for me today, I want to really, truly embrace this as a win, and the justice system works.

Moreover, authorities advanced an investigation into Nygard in June 2020. Eventually, the officers submitted eight cases to Manitoba prosecutors, who did not pursue criminal charges against him.

Reportedly his case was then handed over to the Saskatchewan Justice for an independent review in December 2020.

Furthermore, the former fashion mogul faced similar criminal charges in the US, Toronto, and Quebec.

Also, Nygard was first arrested in Winnipeg in 2020 after he was charged with nine counts — including sex trafficking — in New York.

Winnipeg, Manitoba, authorities obtained an arrest warrant for city native Nygard, 81, after an investigation into the 30-year-old case.

The disgraced fashion icon received two new charges for sexual assault and unlawful confinement.

Also, Nygard has been accused of luring at least 10 women to his home in the Bahamas. The fashion mogul promised cash payments and lucrative modeling opportunities.

Sadly, the victims were allegedly plied with booze and drugs and then violently assaulted, as suggested by an issued complaint.

Moreover, Nygard was arrested at the Toronto South Detention Centre, where he has been in custody since December 2020. Moreover, he was napped in Winnipeg on a provisional warrant for crimes in the US.

Concerned authorities in Winnipeg said they would not release any further details on the 1993 case until it is before the court.
