Carlile has seven studio albums to her credit as of 2023. Including one for The Firewatcher’s Daughter (2015), six for By the Way, I Forgive You (2018), three for her work as producer and songwriter on Tanya Tucker’s album While I’m Livin’ (2019), and ten for In These Silent Days (2021), she has won nine Grammy Awards and been nominated for 25 Grammys.

Carlile and Wynonna, two well-liked and accomplished vocalists, collaborated in 2022. Additionally, they also put on a spectacular performance for their audience.

Judd performed two of the Judds’  biggest hits alongside the songwriter during her gigs on July 8 and 9, 2022, at Ascend Amphitheater. She also had a very special message for her fans prepared.

The duo also gave a rousing and exuberant rendition of the Judds’ 1984 smash song “Girls Night Out,” which elicited a roar of applause and yells from the enthused audience.

Carlile has spoken up about her close connection to the Judds in the aftermath of the loss of Naomi Judd, Wynonna’s singing partner as well as her mother. The day that Naomi passed away, she was supposed to play “Love Can Build a Bridge” as part of the Judds’ induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, but she had to postpone it due to COVID-19.

A few weeks later, on May 15, 2022, she appeared on stage alongside Wynonna to play “The Rose” as part of Naomi Judd: A River of Time Celebration, a memorial ceremony and musical tribute that was broadcast live from Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

Carlile joined Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Ashley McBryde, Trisha Yearwood, and other notable performers who were scheduled to appear on the Judds’ anticipated debut tour in over ten years. Wynonna made the decision to go ahead with the concert dates, which are scheduled to begin on September 30 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, known shortly after Naomi Judd’s passing.

In Ravensdale, Washington, a rural community 30 miles outside of Seattle, Carlile was born on June 1st, 1981. Her mother’s name is Teresa Carlile but her father’s name is not disclosed till now.

She played in the woods, made forts, and performed music with her brother Jay and sister Tiffany while growing up in the only house for miles. The singer almost died when she developed bacterial meningitis when she was four years old. She experienced multiple cardiac failures, and she fell into a coma.

The producer spent her formative years in Sumner, Washington’s Black Diamond, Maple Valley, and Auburn cities in King County’s southern region. She also briefly resided in West Seattle.

When Carlile was a young girl, she trained herself to sing, and at the age of eight, she started performing country music. She and her mother, Teresa, played Johnny Cash’s “Tennessee Flat Top Box” at age eight. At age 15, she picked up the guitar, and at age 16, she started singing backup for Elvis Impersonators.

She was a teenager when she was diagnosed with attention-deficit disorder and she later dropped out of Tahoma High School to pursue a career in music. Hearing Elton John’s music inspired her to learn how to play the piano, and when she was 17 she also started playing the guitar.

Brandi declared herself a lesbian in a November 2002 interview, and she revealed in June 2012 that she was engaged to Catherine Shepherd, whom she had first met in 2009. They were wed on September 15, 2012, in Wareham, Massachusetts, and are blessed with Two daughters. Shepherd has served as the Looking Out Foundation’s executive director since 2012.
