Charles Littlejohn is a former IRS contractor. According to the Washington Post, he is 38 years old as of this writing.
Littlejohn grew up in St. Louis. Speaking of his educational background, the former IRS contractor completed his graduation from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 2007.
Likewise, he earned a degree in economics, as suggested by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
As per last September’s indictment, Charles served at a consulting firm from 2017 to 2021. However, details regarding the firm were not named in the filing.
Reportedly, the charged contractor dealt primarily with contracts the firm obtained from the IRS.
As per the reports, he stole information from the IRS while working from 2018 to 2020.
Similarly, Charles worked on a contract that included “returns and return information dating back more than 15 years,” as suggested by the indictment.

What Happened To Charles Littlejohn? Latest Case Update
According to CNN, U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes sentenced Littlejohn, 38, to a maximum of five years in prison with three years of supervised release.
Additionally, he had to pay a $5,000 fine, as per multiple outlets reports. Likewise, several high-profile personalities called Littlejohn’s actions “an attack on our constitutional democracy.”
Moreover, Littlejohn must turn himself in by April 30. Also, the former contractor revealed that he “acted out of a sincere misguided belief” and was “aware of the potential consequences” when stating to the court on Monday.

The 38-year-old former IRS contractor pleaded guilty to one count of unauthorized leak of tax returns.
In addition, Littlejohn pleaded guilty to returning information last October after he admitted exposing the former president’s information to reputed news sites, including The New York Times.
Similarly, he exposed the tax returns of other wealthy Americans to ProPublica.
