The service will occur on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point.

The officiating clergy, Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will lead the funeral services.

Burial will follow at St. Edward Catholic Church Cemetery in Richard.

Visitation for family and friends has been arranged at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point, starting on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

It will continue until Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Perè Rozas will recite the rosary on Friday at 6 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Cole Standford is survived by his parents, Jonathan and Amy Richard Stanford of Church Point.

He is also survived by five sisters – Blake, Blair, Lainey, Lola, and Minnie Stanford – and three brothers, Isaac, Brock, and Jacques Stanford.

Additionally, he leaves behind one niece, Charlie Braman.

His paternal grandmother, Barbara Stanford, and his maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Elaine Richard, also mourn his passing.

The fifth grader was a dedicated student and a proud altar server at school Masses.

His love for operating a tractor and riding a four-wheeler demonstrated his adventurous spirit and zest for life.

Sadly, the 10-year-old was preceded in death by his brother, Tyler Jude Stanford, and his paternal grandfather, John Stanford.
