The FBI captured Asif William Rahman in Cambodia last week, and he was scheduled to appear in court in Guam.

Reynolds, an attorney representing the U.S. Government, claims that Rahman had travel arrangements during his detention.
Moreover, Reynolds informed the court that foreign rivals would probably offer him sanctuary due to the charges against him.
Reynolds also asked the court for a writ of removal, arguing that Guam was more likely to flee because of its proximity to other nations.
Asif William Rahman Is Due To Appear In Court In Guam
In response to a Justice Department request that he be sent to northern Virginia for prosecution, Rahman, 34, is scheduled to appear in Guam court on Thursday.
A person familiar with the case who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing prosecution verified his job with the CIA. Still, the document does not identify where he works.
Rahman is scheduled to appear before Chief Judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood of the U.S. District Court of Guam.

In a writ of removal petition, Assistant Attorney General for National Security Matthew G. Olsen asked the court to move Rahman from Guam to the Eastern District of Virginia.
Under the Espionage Act, Rahman is charged with two counts of willfully retaining and transmitting material related to national security.
He might be fined and imprisoned for up to 10 years for each count.
